Weekend Travel

After a long time this weekend I had been to the "The Land of Mahabarat". It was really good to be there where the Song of the Lord was recited by Great Lord Krishna to his disciple and world famous Archer Arjuna. Kurukshetra lies on the bank of Saraswati. It is been told it is one of the Holy cities for the Hindus and also there are around 360 Thirtas in and around the city. The Brahmasarovar is considered the holiest lake. During the eclipse period there is a huge crowd to take a dip in the holy waters. It has a capacity of 50,000 people to dip at a time. The Banyan Tree in Kurukshetra is considered as the place where the holy Bhagavat Gita was recited. Kurukshetra is a must see place for everyone.
