Sun Shine

After a long time, today I was able to see the Sun Shine. I was really like the westerns who are longing to see the sun. Once It was out came out of my blanket, socks, gloves and sweaters and stood under the sun.
Weekend Travel

After a long time started back traveling. This time we had been to Delhi on Sunday. We decided at the last moment and went to India Gate, Parliament, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Red Fort.

India Gate
The 42m high free standing arch was designed by Lutyens and built in 1931. It is the war memorial for the soldiers who died during the World War I. Since it was a fog day we could only spend around 10 to 20 mins there.

Parliament
We could only see the high pillars from the car due to high security. We were not allowed to park the car also anywhere near by.

Rashtrapati Bhavan
Here also we were able to see only from the road. But still that was a wonderfull experience. The building and the gates are really magnificent

Red Fort
The building that was recently vacated by the Army and given fully to the India Tourism. The ancient building was built by Shahjahan. This is the place from where he ruled his vast empire. The splendid architectural monument by the Mughals.

Zero Visibility

First time I was able to understand the meaning of '0' visibility. Since my office timing are early morning, today I was able to se and feel the '0' visibility. Normally I have pickup and drop by my office cab. Today my driver was doing a zig zag on the road to find the exact way. First time were to hit a wall and the second time we were to fall into a pit. But at the last moment we were able to see those and put a brake. It was like a real adventure. After coming to office I came to know that hereafter it is going to be like this only for another 2 to 3 weeks.

As for the employed status the Rural population stands higher than the Urban population. Also the percentage of female employees in Rural population is 46% wherein the Urban female empolyees is only 11%.

Is this the same all over the world or is it only in India? Read on...

Growing India

I had been browsing the internet and one of my friend told about this site. I was really touched by the contents in it and how individuals are doing great things.
Indian Origin books

The olden Indian books are considered as the most wanted books all over the world. Especially in Europian Countires. For e.g. The Artha Shastra from Kautilya is a book that you don't get in India. This books talks about everything from law, metalurgy, medicine and how a king should behave. This book is followed by most of the Europian Politicians. Like this the Kama sutra is also widely read book by the westerns, but in India it is considered as a bad book. If anyone talks about that in India people around him stare from top to bottom.
Blood Donation

I was happy yesterday since I was able to donate my blood for a good cause. I had been to Apollo hospital to donate blood for a person who is undergoing bypass surgery tomorrow. His blood group was also O -ve. After donating the blood I had to meet the patient and the way he thanked me was really touching. I was able to understand the importance of life at that time.
Team Work

The way India has been playing for the past 4 days shows the great team work between the players. After 20yrs India is able to play a good test in an International Soil and that too in Australia.

The cool cat has done a great job for his team. And as a captian he has motivated the whole team to work together. Seeing the highlites yesterday I was shocked to see the performance of each player.

A R Rahman

I had been always a fan for A R Rahman. I had been listening to his new BGM for the film Warriors of Heaven and Earth a chinese hollywood film. It is really good to have an Indian compose the music for an Chinese film. This is only called globalisation I think.
Sensex jumps 98 points, spirals to 44-month high

As to my previous update here is the latest story on the same. Read on
Indian Economy

Where ever you go or speak to anyone or visit any site, there is always a praise to the Indian economy. We also see that is true, for instance if we look the sensex it is grown high steadily. It looks like we will be in the # 1 position very soon in that.

Also when we see the Dollar Vs Rupee it shows a good sign. Are we really in path with Mr. Abdul Kalam's thought for India 2020.
RSA

Worlds most widely used encryption or decryption codes are from RSA. RSA stands for Rivest, Shamir & Adleman. It is once again a combination of three friends.
Home Registration

After a long waiting finally I was able to buy a house @ my native place. It is an individual house on an area of 2480 sq ft. Monday the 8th Dec was a happy day for everyone @ home because of the registration. It took us whole day to complete the registration.

For one day itself I felt it was a hectic work, now I feel how should my parents worked on getting this done. It was 2 months fight on place and rate. I purchased the house for 13,45,000. I should be thankfull to ICICI bank to shell me that huge amount on a loan for 15yrs @ the rate of 7.25% interest

Indian Railway

I had to leave to Chennai today as a matter of fact, I did not get any Flight tickets so had to relay on the railways. My friends told me that I will be able to book a ticket by Tatkal(emergency booking method). Also they told me that I have to be early because of the crowd. Since it is winter and I thought who is going to come early in the morning and stand in the Queue. To my dismay when I reached @ 7.30 AM I was shocked to see that in every counter there were 3 to 5 people already in Queue. That building had 6 counters and all the counters had people. I also had to take the Queue and will standing in Queue had to fill the forms.

I thought they say the counters will open 8.00AM. I thought it is going to take some time for that. Once again I was wrong, when the clock struck 8.00Am all the counters opened and the first ticket was issued @ 8.03Am. I was really shocked to see how punctual the government employees were. I am not sure what magic was done for these changes. Was it really working like this for a long time, or am I seeing this for the first time, I am not sure.

We very frequently tell that IST stands for Indian Stretchable Time. But if anyone sees how the railway booking works it is not true. It is really Indian Standard Time.

Outsourcing

Around 5 fives guys had a discussion about Indian states, the political stability and the political party. One guy suggested that some states should be outsourced to the developed countries like US, UK or Germany. The states he mentioned were Bihar, Kashmir, Chattisghar where there is frequent terrorist problem. In that case these states will be out of terror and also the development of these states will be high. This idea was a real good one which I liked. For other countries were they outsource their company work, we Indians will outsource the states to develop. In this way we will not borrow any amount from the World bank as loan for the developmen tof these states

Birthday Celebrations

We had a birthday celebrations on Saturday for one of my room mate(DuraiMurugan). We had some funny makeup for the birthday boy and also a cake cutting @ 12AM. Later that evening went for a restaruant nearby called the Kebab Factory. This ambience was really good and type of food they served was also really good. It started with some kebab(it is a fried pieces of veg and nonveg items). We had around 5 types of kebab which was unlimited and all them tasted so good that I was not able to take the main course. The main course consists of Indian bread and Biriyani. Veg plate was Rs. 375 and Non-veg was Rs. 425 which was worth it. Thanks to the birthday boy for the wonderfull evening
Hi I'm Back

I am back from the long vacation that I had because of the Thanksgiving day. The weekend just passed away, I did nothing other than watching some movies.

Janasheen
One of the worst film that I have seen in hindi. It looks like father wanted to spoil the career of his son. The film is written, directed and produced by Feroz Khan. I did not understand a bit about the story of that film.

Thirumalai
Due to the lack of Tamil films released in Delhi, I had to take a VCD and watch this film. Then I regreted for taking the VCD. I am also happy that I need not had to waste a huge amount for the tickets for this worst film. I am suprised how this film is rated 1 in the Sun TV count down. Has the insterests of Tamil Viewers gone so bad.

Jay Jay
The next movie that I saw Jay Jay. I took this film because it was directed by Saran. But to my dismay this was also another movie that is not worth to be seen.

Pithamahan
The next movie I saw was Pithamahan. For a change this was a good movie. After watching the horrible movies I had a chance to view a good one. Eventhough there is nothing special about the storyline, the acting is remarkable by both the Heros(Surya & Vikram). The first one speaks a lot while the second one does only open his mouth while eating. A good piece of work done by Bala. Once again this movie follows the same footstep of his previous ones. But still a good try.

Holiday Mood

Today is Thanksgiving day in America, and we also follow the same in India since we work for the Americans'. Out of 1000 people in my office around 100 have got the very long weekend of 4 days off. Meanwhile some people get 3 days off due to production support. It is a real difficult sceanrio for a company to keep track who is going to work, who is in off and who is working on extra timing.
Indian Sites

I went to a site today called the Income Tax Laws, to my dismay I see that most of the links are taking to a site called Make Money. In a site where we try to see the laws it shows how to make money. I am not sure whether this site was hacked or was made to work like that.

Wings of Fire

I purchased the book "Wings of Fire" this Saturday and I started reading the say day. But I was astonished to see that the book did not contain around 10 pages. I am not sure how can a press do such a mistake.

I read around 68 pages from that book and I was so much impressed about India and I am proud of being an Indian. I am also ashamed that I have done nothing to this great country.
Final Venture

Finally I have created my page after searching a lot on the web to get a space. This is my first attempt to do something of this type. I will be posting all info that is interesting me.
