Banking

In the age of Mordern Banking, I had the chance to visit one of the Government undertaking bank, and which claims as the India's third largest Bank, the Punjab National Bank. There is no improvement in its infrastructure. There is long queue outside the bank standing and at exactly 10Am the bank doors are opened, both employees and customer enter. The employees take their own time to settle down and start their work by 10.30Am, immedialty they get thier morning tea. They spend some time to drink and then start the work. Government banks are really not borthered about the customers. The work and procedures they follow comes as a suprise. Still the ledger books, token system to get the money.

In the age of Internet why are these banks not ready to change themselves?
